Originally by: Usagi Toshiro So are we to assume that CCP HQ has a stockpile of Pizza and Mt. Dew to keep the Devs running in the event of a full scale Zombie invasion? How much have they stored up, how long can they last before sending an intern out for a supply run?
A supply run invites the opporunity of the virus getting into CCP itself... . Better arm that intern with your biggest Anti-Zombie Nerf guns!
OMG! The beer! What about the beer?
I suggest that CCP implement a training program right now that begins an apprenticeship for each of their devs in the art of brewing beer. I mean... if Iceland is going to be the last bastion of civilization in the event of a zombie invasion, there must be beer! Otherwise, how can you call it civilization?
There's a few abbeys here in Belgium that might take on an apprentice or two.
Good lord! I can't believe we made it this far into this thread without this point being raised. I propose that the first order of business that the CSM takes on is the immediate review of the CCP Zombie Incursion Continuity Training Manual.
Everyone knows that the true yardstick of civilization is the brewers stick. Sheesh people. Must I think of everything?

Naval Air Station
I did a year and half there with the 57th FS. That wiki article is kind of funny in that those 15s in the first pic aren't even Kef tails. HH is Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Weather is just a tad different there.

Anyway, to put us back on track, the skies over Iceland were kept clear of all airborne zombie attacks during my stay.

The 7.62mm NATO round starts tumbling almost instantly once it enters tissue. This tumbling and the fact that it has a ring shaped predetermined breaking point at its tail causes the bullet to fragment after a few inches of penetration.
It's really the best of both realms... I know, zombies in body armor are rare but IF an infection affects military personnel you'd be in serious trouble with your JHP or wad cutter rounds.
In battle, it's better to wound than to kill. You get rid of two guys if one has to carry the other one away... At least that's a theory I heard once about standard NATO ammo.
But who cares? Because everyone knows that the best weapons for fighting zombies are: - A cricket bat - A shovel - A double barrel shotgun (if it's only a single barrel, throw it away) - A fire axe - A chainsaw arm - A crowbar (or depending on location, a humungous pipe wrench)
Also sometimes handy: - A bazooka - A turbo-charged dune buggy with a lazer mounted on it - An anti-grav gun capable of hurling Big Ben dumpsters - A pool cue - A magnet crane with freight container attachment - An armored bus with snowplow frontend - One of those giant Rambo knives (but that's really just about looking cool) - A nuclear warhead strapped to a four-wheeler - Old ABBA records
